Net profit for July-September rose to ₹349 crore and revenue grew 21% to ₹2,566 crore. Same-store revenue per available room at its Indian hotels, a key industry measure, rose 25%, as did management fees and revenue from its select-service brands such as Ginger.

Racing to 700
IHCL has signed 47 hotels so far this financial year, taking its portfolio to 670, of which 390 are open. It plans to open about 30 more in the second half, for 50 in the year.
“With 390 operational hotels, we are on track to crossing the 400-hotel milestone in November,” managing director and chief executive Puneet Chhatwal said. He said the company would give revised development targets under its Accelerate 2030 plan “middle of November”.
Chhatwal said the budget Ginger brand would keep expanding into smaller towns. “Every district (headquarters) of India should have a Ginger,” he said.
The company spent a record ₹500 crore on capital projects in the first half. Its all-share merger with associate Oriental Hotels is expected to be completed by April.
IHCL shares closed 0.92% lower at ₹753 on the National Stock Exchange before the results were announced.
