Mitchell Starc reaches 450 Test wickets with a review against Mulder
Australia's left-arm quick got to the milestone on the third morning in Gqeberha after an initial not-out call was overturned.

Key points
- Mitchell Starc dismissed Wiaan Mulder for 13 off 38 balls for his 450th Test wicket.
- The wicket came after Australia overturned a not-out decision on review.
- South Africa slipped to 110 for 6 in the 50th over.
Mitchell Starc reached 450 Test wickets on the third day of the second Test against South Africa at St George’s Park on Tuesday, and he needed a review to get there.
Wiaan Mulder was given not out by the on-field umpire to a delivery from the left-armer. Australia sent it upstairs and the decision was overturned, ending Mulder’s 38-ball stay for 13.
The wicket left South Africa 110 for 6 in the 50th over of their first innings, adding to the pressure created by Scott Boland’s 4 for 31 over the first two days. Boland had opened the day with a maiden as South Africa resumed on 97 for 5.
Starc had already removed Matthew Breetzke on Monday, edging behind to Alex Carey, so Mulder was his second wicket of the innings.
The milestone did not settle the day in Australia’s favour. Marco Jansen took three fours off one Starc over soon after, and he and captain Temba Bavuma put on 91 for the seventh wicket to take South Africa past 200 by the middle of the afternoon.
Australia lead the three-match series 1-0.
