Bournemouth thrash ten-man Milan 3-0 after Maignan red card, Hoffenheim rout Lyon
Two penalties and an Amine Adli free kick kept Bournemouth perfect in the Europa League, while Crystal Palace drew in Istanbul and Celtic lost at home to Celta Vigo.

Key points
- Bournemouth beat Milan 3-0 to make it three wins from three in the league phase.
- Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan was sent off before the half-hour for shoving Tyler Adams.
- Hoffenheim beat Lyon 3-0 and Real Sociedad won 6-0 in Norway.
Bournemouth swept aside ten-man AC Milan 3-0 at the Vitality Stadium on Thursday night to keep their perfect start in the Europa League, with the Italian side’s evening unravelling inside half an hour.
Justin Kluivert put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot in the eighth minute after Evanilson’s header struck a raised arm in the box. Milan’s night then got worse. As a corner swung in, goalkeeper Mike Maignan shoved Tyler Adams with both hands to the face, and the referee showed him a straight red card and pointed to the spot. Marcus Tavernier converted the second penalty in the 32nd minute.
Rúben Amorim’s side, with Luka Modrić and Christian Pulisic on the bench, never threatened a way back. Amine Adli completed the win six minutes from time, driving a free kick through a gap in the wall.
The result gives Marco Rose’s Bournemouth three wins from three after a 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad and a 3-0 win against Sturm Graz. They meet Sparta Praha next.
